LIC HFL Assistants & Assistant Manager Selection will be made on the basis of performance in the on-line test followed by a personal interview of short listed candidates and subsequent Pre-Recruitment Medical Examination.
LIC HFL On-line test will be of objective type, multiple choices of 120 minutes (2 hrs) duration comprising of the following sections:

PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS
There will be a penalty for wrong answers marked in the LIC HFL Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate, one fourth (1/4 ) or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question will be deducted as penalty to arrive at corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate; there will be no penalty for that question.
Interview: Successful candidate based on merit will be eligible to be called for an Interview. Candidates who do not obtain the minimum qualifying marks in the Interview shall be disqualified from further selection.
Final Selection: The final merit list and selection of candidates will be separate for Assistant Manager and will be done on the basis of combined marks of Online Examination and Interview strictly according to the merit ranking, subject to minimum qualifying marks in the Interview.
Medical Examination: Selected candidate will have to undergo Medical Examination and will be appointed as Assistant Manager subject to him/her being found medically fit by the Medical Examiner authorized by LIC HFL for this purpose.
