RESERVE BANKS OF INDIA (RBI) ASSISTANT RECRUITMENT EXAM
Selection for the RBI Assistant post will be through a country-wide competitive examination in two phase online RBI Assistant examination i.e. Preliminary and Main examination followed by Language Proficiency Test (LPT). Candidates who shall qualify in RBI Assistant Preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for RBI Assistant Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the Main examination will subsequently be called for Language Proficiency Test (LPT). The scheme of selection is as follows:-

The RBI Assistant online tests except the Test of English Language will be available bilingually, i.e. English and Hindi.
Candidates will have to pass in each of the RBI Assistant objective tests of the online examinations.
A candidate has to qualify in RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination for appearing in RBI Assistant Main Examination.
There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the RBI Assistant Objective tests (Preliminary and Main examination).
1/4th marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.
Other detailed information regarding the RBI Assistant examination will be given in an Information Handout, which will be made available for the candidates to download along with the RBI Assistant call letter for examination from the RBI website.
RBI Assistant Language Proficiency Test (LPT) - The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the RBI Assistant main on-line examination will have to undergo language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency test will be conducted in the Official / Local Language of the State concerned as detailed below). Candidate not proficient in the Official / Local Language shall be disqualified.
