A candidate can apply for only one Indian Bank Specialist Officers post and not more than one application should be submitted by any candidate. In case of multiple Indian Bank Specialist Officers Applications only the latest valid (completed) application will be retained and the application fee/ intimation charges paid for the other multiple registration(s) will stand forfeited.  

INDIAN BANK SO Eligibility Criteria:

A) Nationality/Citizenship

A candidate must be either i) a citizen of India or ii) a subject of Nepal or iii) a subject of Bhutan or iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar (formerly Burma), Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika),Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia or Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) or (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/ interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the eligibility certificate from the Government of India in this regard is submitted.

B) INDIAN BANK SO AGE, EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION ANDPOST QUALIFICATION WORKEXPERIENCE (as on 01.07.2019)

1. Indian Bank SO Assistant Manager Credit: Age limit (Min -20, Max-30)

1. Graduate in any discipline and Post Graduate (2 years duration) in any of the following:

a. Business

b. Management

c. Finance

d. Banking

From a University / Institution /Board recognised by Government of India / Government regulatory bodies.

OR

2. CA/ICWA/CFA from a University / Institution / Board recognised by Government of India / Government regulatory bodies wherever applicable.

2. Indian Bank SO Manager Credit: Age limit (Min -25, Max-35)

Graduate in any discipline and Post Graduate (2 years duration) in any of the following:

a. Business

b. Management

c. Finance

d. Banking

From a University / Institution /Board recognised by Government of India / Government regulatory bodies.

OR

2. CA/ICWA/CFA from a University / Institution / Board recognised by Government of India / Government regulatory bodies wherever applicable.

Experience (Post Qualification): Minimum 1year of experience in credit in Public / Private / Foreign Banks

3. Indian Bank SO Manager Security: Age limit (Min -25, Max-35)

Graduate in any discipline from any University recognized by Govt of India.

Experience (Post Qualification): 5 years (either by way of pre or post qualification experience) as a Commissioned Officer in the Indian Army/Navy/Air Force OR Police Officer not below the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police OR Assistant Commandant or equivalent Rank in Paramilitary Forces

4. Indian Bank SO Manager Forex: Age limit (Min -25, Max-35)

1. Graduate in any discipline and Post Graduate (2 years duration) in any of the following:

a. Business

b. Management

c. Finance

d. Banking

from a University / Institution /Board recognised by Government of India/ Government regulatory bodies.

OR

2. CA / ICWA / CFA from a University / Institution / Board recognised by Government of India / Government regulatory bodies wherever applicable.

Experience (Post Qualification): Minimum 3 years of experience with Public / Private / Foreign Banks in dealing in interbank and cross currency deals / handling trade finance portfolio.

5. Indian Bank SO Manager Legal: Age limit (Min -25, Max-35)

A Bachelor Degree in Law (LLB) and enrolled as an advocate with Bar Council.

Experience (Post Qualification): Enrolled as Advocate with Bar council and having 3 years of experience as practicing advocate at Bar.

OR

Minimum of 3 years experience as Legal Officer in Public / Private / Foreign Banks.

6. Indian Bank SO Manager Dealer: Age limit (Min -25, Max-35)

1. Graduate in any discipline and Post Graduate (2 years duration) in any of the following:

a. Business

b. Management

c. Finance

d. Banking

from a University / Institution /Board recognised by Government of India/ Government regulatory bodies.

OR

2. CA / ICWA / CFA from a University / Institution / Board recognised by Government of India / Government regulatory bodies wherever applicable.

Experience (Post Qualification): Minimum 3 years of experience in Public / Private / Foreign Banks in dealing in G Sec, Money Market, Equity, SLR and Non SLR.

7. Indian Bank SO Manager Risk Management: Age limit (Min -25, Max-35)

1. Graduate in any discipline and Post Graduate (2 years duration) in any of the following:

a. Business

b. Management

c. Finance

d. Banking

e. Statistics

f. Econometrics

Experience (Post Qualification): Minimum 1 year Experience in Credit at Public / Private / Foreign Banks

8. Indian Bank SO Senior Manager Risk Management: Age limit (Min -27, Max-37)

1. Graduate in any discipline and Post Graduate (2 years duration) in any of the following:

a. Business

b. Management

c. Finance

d. Banking

e. Statistics

f. Econometrics

g. Economics

h. Risk Management

i. Mathematics

From a University / Institution / Board recognised by Government of India / Government regulatory bodies

2. Graduate in any discipline and FRM from GARP.

Experience (Post Qualification): Minimum 3 years of Experience in Public / Private / Foreign Banks of which 2 years experience in Risk Management Department.

PROBATION AND CONFIRMATION: The selected candidates in Scale I posts will be on probation for a period of 2 years from the date of joining. Selected candidates in Scale II and III posts will be on probation for a period of 1 year from the date of joining. Their confirmation in the Banks service will be decided in terms of the provisions of Indian Bank Officers Service Regulations, 1979. 

INDIAN BANK SO SELECTION PROCESS:  

The Indian Bank SO selection process for post code 3, Manager Security will comprise of short listing of applications followed by interview. For other posts, the selection process will comprise of a test and personal interview.

Payment of fees is can be made between 22.01.2020 to 10.02.2020. Even if the last date for registration is extended at the discretion of the Bank for reasons whatsoever, the dates for payment of fees will remain unchanged.
