Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham (Amrita University) is a University established under section 3 of the UGC Act 1956.The University focuses on higher education and research in the areas of Engineering, Medicine, Management, Arts & Sciences, Education, Mass Communication and Social Work.
The University has five campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam), Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Kochi and Mysuru.
Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is conducting Entrance Examination every year on an all India basis for admission to the 4 year B.Tech. Degree programmes offered in the three campuses at Amritapuri (Kollam, Kerala), Bengaluru (Karnataka) and Ettimadai (Coimbatore).
The examination is referred to as Amrita Entrance Examination- Engineering, in short as AEEE .
ELIGIBILITY For AEEE
Age – Candidates shall be born on or after 1st July 2001
Educational Qualification – A pass in 10 + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination with minimum 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry with not less than 55% in each of these three subjects. Candidates passing out in 2022 and passed out in 2021 can apply.

HOW TO APPLY For AEEE :
Registration for AEEE 2022 is fully online. Candidates are required to have their recent photograph, online payment credentials, etc. to be ready to complete the online application process.

Multiple applications, i.e. more than one application from a candidate may get rejected.

AEEE ADMISSION PROCEDURE :
Admission to B.Tech Programmes offered at Amrita Schools of Engineering – Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore campuses for the academic year 2022 is through :
Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2022 (AEEE 2022) / Joint Entrance Examination Mains 2022 (JEE Mains 2021) and is based on the rank secured in AEEE 2022/JEE Mains 2022.
70% of the seat allotment will be through AEEE 2022 and 25% through JEE Mains 2022 (one of the sessions)
SAT – 3% of seats are reserved for the candidates with valid SATII Score (Scholastic Assessment Test). Candidates with valid scores from 2020 onwards is accepted.
Pearson UG Entrance Examination Score (PUEE). Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham is now accepting the Pearson Undergraduate Entrance Exam scores. Visit the website to register. 2% of seats are reserved for candidates with valid PUEE Score. Candidates with valid scores from 2020 onwards is accepted.

AEEE - AMRITA ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAMINATION (FOR ADMISSION TO B.TECH. PROGRAMMES)
Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2022 (AEEE 2022) Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering 2021 is conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham in online mode with Remote Proctoring & in Computer Based Test mode at selected cities. The test will be of 90 minutes duration with 60 questions.
AEEE EXAM PATTERN: AEEE Entrance Exam consists of three sections :
The pattern of examination paper for AEEE – 2022 is of Duration: 90 minutes

Total number of questions is 60
All the questions are of Multiple Choice type and will have four answers of equal weightage i.e. 3 marks are awarded for each correct answer and -1 (negative one) for each wrong answer.
The questions are based on the syllabus JEE Mains 2022
AEEE will be conducted in three phases in the month of April & May 2022
Are the multiple sessions at AEEE 20222 useful ?
This will give multiple opportunities to the candidates to improve their scores in the examination if they fail to give their best in one attempt.
In the first attempt, the students will get a firsthand experience of taking an examination and will know their mistakes which they can improve while attempting for the next time.
This will reduce the chances of dropping a year and droppers would not have to waste a full year.
If anyone missed the examination due to reasons beyond control (such as Board examination), then he/she will not have to wait.
A candidate need not appear in all three Sessions. However, if the candidate appears in more than one Session then his/her best of the 2022 AEEE Scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List/ Ranking
Remote Proctored Examination (Secured)
Remote Proctored Examination can be attended from home on a laptop/PC with good internet connectivity. It is important to have a webcam connected to the computer. The examination will be proctored remotely by the university staff.
Centre Based Test (CBT)
Centre Based Examination (CBE) will be conducted only in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Tamil Nadu & Telangana states. University will take all precautionary measures to ensure social distancing at examination centres and will have a proper disinfection system in place.

09:30 - 11:00 AM; 12:30 - 02:00 PM; 03:30 - 05:00 PM (slot bookings will be opened in advance before the first phase of examination)
AEEE ADMIT CARD : Admit Card to write the examination is generated only to those eligible candidates who have submitted their application form complete in all respects, on or before the last date specified. Admit cards to attend AEEE 2022 shall be downloaded from the website by logging into their registered account using their registered Email ID / Application Number and Date of Birth. Intimation in this regard is sent by SMS and email.
Admit Card will not be sent by post.
