Scheme of PU LLB Entrance Test :
The duration of the PU LLB Entrance Test will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The PU LLB Entrance Test will be of 100 marks consisting multiple-choice questions.
The PU LLB Question Papers will be available in English; Hindi and Punjabi (except for the portion Reasoning Ability and Knowledge of English and Legal Aptitude). However, the medium of instruction will be English only.
Bachelor of Laws (LL.B. Professional 3-Year Course) Entrance Test:
The duration of the PU LLB PG Entrance Test will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The PU LLB PG Entrance Test will be of 100 marks consisting multiple-choice questions.
The objective type questions will be available in English, Hindi and Punjabi also.
The questions will be based upon following three components
- Current Affairs and General Knowledge: 40 Marks
- Legal Aptitude : 40 Marks
- Reasoning Ability and Knowledge of English : 20 Marks
B.A/B.COM.LL.B. (HONS.) 5 YEARS INTEGRATED COURSE ENTRANCE TEST:
The PU LLB UG for 5 years Entrance Test shall be based on Legal and General Awareness.
The duration of the PU LLB UG Entrance Test will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes.
The PU LLB UG Entrance Test will be of 100 marks consisting multiple-choice questions.
The objective type questions will be available in English, Hindi and Punjabi also.
The questions will be based upon following three components
- General Knowledge and Current Affairs: 60 Marks
- Aptitude for Law: 20 Marks
- Testing Mental Ability: 10 Marks
- English Language : 10 Marks

The PU LLB Entrance Test will be of 100 marks consisting multiple-choice questions, there shall be negative marking for wrong answers i.e. ¼ marks will be deducted for wrong answers and for each correct answer 1 mark is to be awarded.

The final merit for PU LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) admission shall be computed by the concerned Department/Centre after taking into account the relative weightage for final merit for admission in respective courses. The relative weightages as applicable to the department/centres are as follows:
Entrance Test : 50% Weight age
Qualifying Examination : 50% Weight age
