COMMON MANAGEMENT ADMISSIONS TEST (CMAT) 2022 

The Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a National Level Entrance Examination for admission to Management Programme(s) in the country. This Test facilitates AICTE affiliated participating Institutions to select suitable graduate candidates for admission to the Management Courses in such Institutions.

Till 2018, the Test was conducted by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). NTA is conducting this Test since 2019.

Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) is a national level entrance examination. It will be an online mode computer-based test.

This year also the National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT). There will be no change in syllabus, exam pattern.

The CMAT Admit Cards of candidates (who have paid the fees) have been uploaded on the respective websites cmat.nta.nic.in and the candidates are advised to download their Admit card of CMAT Examination 2022.

The application process of CMAT 2022 will also take place online at the official website, i.e. https://cmat.nta.nic.in 

The CMAT 2022 will be conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA) on the same pattern as per the Year 2021 i.e., Computer Based Test for admission to various management programs across the country. The result of CMAT-2022 will be declared by NTA as CMAT Score which will be accepted by over 1000 participating Institutes. The participating Institutes of CMAT-2022 are the Institutions which will be accepting the CMAT Score. Candidates must apply separately to the desired CMAT-2022 participating institutes with the CMAT Score 2022. Then, each participating institute will release their respective cut–off CMAT Score which candidates should meet to get qualified for admission to that particular institute. Once qualified, the candidates  will  have  to  appear  for  selection  procedure  of  that  particular  institute  which  may comprise of Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The final selection of the candidates will be on the basis of the candidates performance based on above. Candidates are advised to see the details of the admission process of each participating institute of CMAT-2022 on their respective website.

The CMAT-2022 will be conducted by the NTA. The CMAT is a three hours Computer Based Online Test which is conducted to evaluate the candidates ability across various segments like Quantitative Techniques, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness and Innovation and Entrepreneurship.

CMAT is a computer-based test (CBT) which will be conducted once a year by National Testing Agency (NTA).

In CBT, a candidate will read the questions on a computer terminal and choose an answer by clicking on the correct option.

Eligibility for CMAT online test:

1- Applicant must be a citizen of India.

2 - Graduates in any discipline from a recognized University/Institution and final year students can also apply for it.

3. The candidate of any age can apply for this exam. There is no age bar.

4. There is no limit to the number of attempts. 

CMAT 2022 Application Form: 

The Application form will release at the official website of NTA, i.e. cmat.nta.ac.in.

Students who are meeting with the eligibilities only they can apply for it.
The application process will take place in online mode.
Offline applications via post are not at all acceptable.

Only one application is to be submitted by a candidate. More than one application i.e. multiple application forms submitted by a candidate will be rejected
As there will be no chance to re-edit or correct any information after the submission.
When you successfully fill out all the details in the form, thereafter you will have to pay the application fee.
The application fee is non-refundable. The mode of payment is also online and must be done via Credit/Debit card, Net banking, or E-wallet. 

CMAT Application Fee : Fee  payable  for CMAT-2022

General/OBC Candidates – Male -Rs 2000/-, Female -Rs 1000/-

Gen-EWS/OBC (NCL)- Male -Rs 1000/-, Female -Rs 1000/-

SC/ST/PWD – Male -Rs 1000/-, Female -Rs 1000/-

Transgender: Rs.1000/-

Service/Processing charges & Goods & Service Tax (GST) are to be paid by the candidate, as applicable.

CMAT Test Cities : 

The City for CMAT examination will be chosen by the applicants after submission of examination fees on first come-first serve basis. However, before submitting the fee, candidate can check the availability of the seat. It may be noted that if the last few seats are available in a city, these may get filled by the time of completing the payment formalities.

The applicants can choose any available city which will be immediately allotted to the applicant. Please note that this will be active only after payment of fees.

NTA will allocate the examination centre in the chosen city, which will be displayed in the CMAT admit card.

Admission Process For CMAT :

The CMAT score is accepted by all AICTE-Approved Institutions/University Departments/Constituent Colleges/Affiliated Colleges. The detailed merit list will also be provided to State governments for allotting students through central counselling. After the declaration of Result and Merit List candidates will call for the counselling round. On the basis of score and ranking of the student, the admission will be decided. 

For the Academic Year (2022), Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow will use the score sheet of CMAT-2022 for admission to MBA (Master of Business Administration) Course in its affiliated Colleges across the State of Uttar Pradesh.

CMAT SCORE:   

The result will be compiled on the basis of final answer keys. No grievance with regard to answer key(s) after declaration of result of CMAT -2022 will be entertained. The raw (actual) marks obtained by a candidate will be considered further for computation of the result of CMAT-2022. No score card will be dispatched to the candidates and the candidates are advised to download their score cards from the website: cmat.nta.nic.in only.

There shall be no provision for re-valuation/re-checking of the Score. No correspondence in this regard shall be entertained. 

CMAT TEST PRACTICE CENTRES: 

National Testing Agency (NTA) has established a network of Test Practice Centres spread all over India to help the students aspiring to appear in examinations to be conducted by the NTA from 2021 onwards. The students can practice and train themselves before the examination for the “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode of examinations.
