MAH-MBA/MMS-CET Exam Analysis
There were 200 questions from following topics
1. MAH MBA /MMS CET Verbal Ability and Reasoning had 50 questions. Topic wise break up is as under
English Comprehension 15 questions. There was a single paragraph follwed by questions
English Usage 10 questions. All the questions were on spotting the error
English Proficiency 25 questions. Around 15 were from idioms and phrases where incorrect phrases were to be replaced. In addition 10 question were from Cloze where single paragraph was to be completed 10 missing words
2. MAH MBA /MMS CET Quantitative Aptitude had 50 questions. Topic wise break up is as under
Arithmetic 16 questions. Around 10 questions were from number system mainly using BODMAS and approximations. There was one question each from Time and Distance and Time and work. 4 questions were comparison in equations
Commercial Maths Only one question from compound interest
Mensuration Only one question
Algebra Only one question from permutation and combination
Probablity only one question
Data Sufficiency 5 questions. Were on comparisons of quantitative equations
Data Interpretation 20 questions. 5 questions on Bar Chart. 5 questions in line graph. 10 questions were from table . There were two table each having 5 questions
3. MAH MBA /MMS CET Logical and Abstract Reasoning had 100 questions. Topic wise break up is under
Reasoning Questions 60 questions. Analogy Test had 5 questions. Linear Arrangement Test (seating arrangement) had 5 questions. Classification Test (Odd man out in number series) had 5 questions. Coding Decoding Test had 5 questions. Series Test had 10 questions. Relationship Tests (Blood Relations ) had 5 questions. Symbols and Notation Test had 5 questions. Alphabet Tests had 5 questions. Another 15 were miscellaneous questions from reasoning tests including questions on degree of truth.
Logic Tests 15 questions. Syllogism had 5 questions. Statement and Assumptions had 5 questionsand Statement and Conclusions had 5 questions
