TAMIL NADU COMMON ENTRANCE TEST (TANCET) FOR MBA

Applications for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test (TANCET) 2022 conducted by Anna University, Chennai on behalf of the Government of Tamil Nadu from candidates who seek admission to M.B.A., M.C.A. and M.E. / M.Tech. / M.Arch. / M.Plan. Degree Programmes for the academic year 2022-2023 offered at University Departments, University Colleges of Engineering, Regional Campuses of Anna University, Annamalai University, Government and Government Aided Colleges (Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges) and Self-financing Colleges (Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges including stand-alone Institutions) in Tamil Nadu can be registered only through Online. Some Universities and Self-Financing Engineering Colleges may also opt to admit the candidates on the basis of score obtained in TANCET 2022. Other State candidates can appear for the entrance test, but the eligibility conditions will be stipulated by the admitting authority / University.

Applications can be registered online for Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test for admission to M.B.A. Degree Programme Offered at
i. University Departments of Anna University, Chennai –25, Anna University Regional Campuses and University College of Engineering.
ii. Annamalai University.
iii. Government & Government Aided Engineering Colleges and Arts & Science Colleges.
iv. Self-financing Colleges (Engineering, Arts & Science Colleges / including stand-alone Institutions) under Government Quota and seats voluntarily surrendered by the Self-financing Colleges in Tamil Nadu for admission through Single-Window System.

Other Universities functioning under the state Act in Tamil Nadu and self-financing colleges (Engineering Colleges, Arts & Science Colleges/including stand-alone Institutions) may also opt to admit the candidates on the basis of the Tamil Nadu Common Entrance Test 2021.

TANCET MBA ELIGIBILITY:

A pass in a recognised Bachelors degree of minimum 3 years duration and obtained at least 50 % (45 % in the case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the following qualifying degree examination.

(a) 10+2+3/4/5 years pattern or  (b) 10+3 years Diploma +3 years pattern or
(c) B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm. or (d) (i)  10+2+AMIE or (ii)  10+3  years  diploma  (awarded by the State Board of Technical Education) + AMIE

Candidates appearing for the final semester/year of examination of the said qualifying degree course except courses offered by Professional Institution’s like AMIE during April/May 2022 may also apply for TANCET 2022 

HOW TO APPLY TANCET MBA APPLICATION FORM: Candidates can register through online only by filling-up the application and submitting the same along with a good quality recently taken photograph.

TANCET MBA ENTRANCE TEST FEE (Only through Online)
The Candidates have to pay Rs. 800/- (Rs. 400/- for SC /SCA /ST candidates) towards the entrance test fee for M.B.A.

TANCET MBA EXAM PATTERN 2022
The TANCET MBA exam will be conducted across 14 cities of Tamil Nadu.

TANCET MBA 2022 is a paper pencil based test and candidates will require to mark the correct answers in OMR sheets provided by the conducting authority.

Candidates have to shade the boxes/circles placed corresponding to the correct option in black ball point pen only.

Multiple shading for a single question will be considered as an incorrect answer and will call for negative marking.

Using pencil or any other colour ink will lead to cancellation of the TANCET MBA 2022 paper.
