Vacancies in AAI  :  

Name Of Post: JUNIOR EXECUTIVE (AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL) -

No. of vacancies - 400 (UR - 163, OBC - 108, SC - 59, ST – 30, EWS- 40)

Scale of Pay - Junior Executive (E-1) : Rs. 40000-3%-140000

EMOLUMENTS :
In addition to Basic Pay, Dearness Allowance, Perks @ 35% of Basic Pay, HRA and other benefits which include CPF, Gratuity, Social Security Scheme, Medical Benefits etc. are admissible as per Airports Authority of India Rules & Regulations.   

The CTC per annum for the post of Junior Executive would be around Rs. 12 lacs (approximately)

Eligibility Criteria For AAI Traffic Control  

A) Nationality/Citizenship
A candidate must be either (i) a citizen of India or (ii) a subject of Nepal or (iii) a subject of Bhutan or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India, provided that a candidate belonging to categories (ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.  A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India.

B) Educational Qualification (as on 30.11.2020)

Full Time Regular Bachelors Degree of three years in Science (B.Sc) with Physics and Mathematics.

OR

Full Time Regular Bachelors Degree in Engineering in any discipline. (Physics & Mathematics should be subjects in any one of the semesters curriculum)

The candidate shall have minimum proficiency in both spoken and written English of the level of 10+2 standard (the candidate shall have passed English as one of the subject in 10th or 12th standard)

Percentage of marks:- Minimum 60% marks or equivalent for Bachelors Degree.

Candidates having B.E./B. Tech/ B. Sc. (Engg.) Degree are allowed to apply against the post for which essential qualification is prescribed as Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering

No Experience is essential. 

C) Age (as on 14.07.2022)

Minimum age – 18 years
Maximum age – 27 years

SELECTION PROCESS For AAI Traffic Control :
For the post of Junior Executive (Air Traffic Control), On-line examination will be followed by documents verification, Voice Test and Background Verification.
The Candidates shall have minimum proficiency in both spoken and written English of the level 10 +2 standard. The candidate shall have passed English as one of the subjects in 10th or 12th standard.

On selection he/she shall also attain ICAO language minimum proficiency level 4 (Operational) for the purpose of issue of license or rating. Any candidate who is not able to attain ICAO proficiency level 4 or above during the training, his/her services are liable to be terminated.

The provisional selection of the candidates will be as per the merit list, prepared on the basis of their performance in On-line examination / Interview /Physical Measurement and Endurance Test/ Driving Test/Voice test and Background Verification [for Junior Executive (ATC)], as applicable for the post, subject to meeting all other eligibility criteria prescribed for the post.

Roll numbers of the candidates provisionally selected for appointment will be declared on AAI website. The Offer letter will be sent to the provisionally selected candidates on their registered E-mail IDs only. The candidates selected for the post of Junior Executive (ATC) will have to undergo training, during which they will be paid basic pay along with other admissible allowances.  

The candidates selected for the post of Junior Executive (ATC) & Manager (Fire Services) shall have to execute a surety bond for an amount of Rupees Seven Lakhs and Rupees Five Lakhs respectively to serve Airports Authority of India for a period of 03 years after completion of training.

Selected candidates will be liable to be posted anywhere in India.

AAI Application Fee :

Applicable only for Candidates belongs to UR & OBC category: Rs.1000 (Rupees Thousand only) including GST
i. SC/ST/Female candidates have to pay only Rs.81/-(Rupees Eighty One only).

ii. However, PWD and apprentices who have successfully completed one year of Apprenticeship Training in AAI are exempted from Payment of any fee. Fee submitted by any other mode will not be accepted.
iii. Airports Authority of India will accept fee through ONLINE MODE ONLY (net banking / credit cards / debit cards only)
iv. Fees once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances

How to apply For AAI  

Candidates are advised to read the following instructions carefully before applying on-line and also all the instructions given on main instruction page of the on-line application:

1.Candidates are first required to go to the website https://www.aai.aero/en/careers/recruitment and click on the  carrers  link  to open up the On-Line Application Form.

2. Candidates will have to enter their basic details and upload the photograph and signature in the online application form. Candidates are required to upload their photograph and signature as per the specifications given in the Guidelines for Scanning and Upload of Photograph and Signature.   

The online examination will be held at various major cities across India. The place of examination centres can be increased or decreased, depending upon the number of candidates and in that case, candidates will be asked to appear at any other place of examination centres other than those specified by them.

On the basis of the details furnished in application form, candidates shall be called for On-line examination and admit cards shall be issued to them accordingly. The admit card for on-line examination will be sent to the eligible candidates on their registered E-mail IDs only.
