Age (31.10.2021):
Minimum 18 years and maximum age shall be 24 years as on 31-10-2021 for General/EWS candidates. Relaxation of upper age limit to SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwBD candidates shall be extended as per Govt. guidelines.
Period of Apprenticeship Training :
1. Post Code: 101, 102, 104, 105, 106, 107, 109: 12 months
2. Post Code: 103 : 24 months
3. Post Code: 108, 110, 111 : 15 months
STIPEND : Rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 / Apprentices Rules 1992 (as amended) and Corporations guidelines.

CONCESSIONS & RELAXATIONS:
1. Upper age is relaxed by 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates for the trades reserved for them.
2. Upper age is relaxed by 10 years to PwBD candidates in the pecifiedd isabilities only as mentioned above (upto 15 years for SC/ST and upto 13 years for OBC Non-Creamy Layer PwBD Candidates).
3. The percentage of marks required in respective trade is 50% in aggregate which is relaxed by 5% to SC/ST and PwBD candidates i.e. 45%, for the trades reserved for them.
4. Minimum qualifying marks in Written Test is 40%. The same is relaxed by 5% to SC/ST and PwBD candidates i.e. 35%, for the trades reserved for them.
IOCL Trade Apprentices Selection Methodology :
Selection shall be on the basis of performance of the candidates on the basis of marks obtained by them in the Written Test (Duration 120 Minutes) and meeting notified eligibility criteria. There shall be 100 questions in the Written Test and Total marks shall be 100.

Candidates need to apply for only one post as the written test for all the positions will be conducted on the same date and at the same time in all the test centres.
How to Apply IOCL Trade Apprentices Application Form:
Applications are invited by Indian Oil for Apprenticeship at its Refineries at Guwahati, Digboi, Bongaigaon (all 3 in Assam) Barauni (Bihar), Vadodara (Gujarat), Haldia (West Bengal), Mathura (UP), Panipat {Panipat Refinery & Petrochemical Complex (PRPC)} (Haryana) and Paradip (Odisha).
A candidate can apply for apprenticeship in any one of the Refinery unit of his/her choice.
The candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria may apply online from through the link which will be provided in website http://www.iocl.com (Careers -> Whats New > go to Engagement of Apprentices under Refineries Division> Click on Detailed advertisement (to refer to the Advertisement) > Click on Click here to Apply Online (to fill online application form). Only Online mode of applications will be accepted.
