Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has been announced SSC Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE), 2021 Notification and Tier 1 Exam for SSC CGL 2021 will be held in April 2022. SSC CGL 2021 in four tiers each of which has a diffrent set of pattern and syllabus. Clearing the exam is not an easy task, especially when candidates target both Banking and SSC CGL exams. The SSC CGL exam has a different scheme and syllabus. If you plan it properly then you may see your name in the final Selection List.
SSC CGL Tier I is Computer based examination that was conducted by Staff Selection Commission (SSC). You will get 60 minutes to attempt all the 100 questions and each question will carry 2 marks with a penalty of 0.5 marks if done wrong. So it becomes quite important for you to maintain accuracy.

Tips and strategy for SSC CGL Tier 1 :
1. SSC CGL Reasoning and General intelligence:
This section is very scoring so candidates needs to focus more on this part.The reasoning is a test to observe your mental and problem solving ability. Reasoning questions are less time taking than Aptitude questions in SSC CGL exams. You have to be very careful while answering these questions. SSC CGL reasoning, 15-20 questions can be done easily by just using common sense and daily practice. This section needs concentration and Accuracy.
2. SSC CGL Quantitative Aptitude :
Quantitative aptitude is not only important for Tier I, but also for Tier II. Quant section play final role in the marks and Merit list of candidates. You need to save time in the online exam for solve this section. You are advised to save time from Reasoning, English & General Awareness as this part takes more time to solve the problems.You need to practice all the varieties of questions in every topic and need to learn some shortcut techniques to solve them. The syllabus not only includes arithmetic but also some topics of advanced maths.

3. SSC CGL General English
This is the scoring section for SSC CGL. This section is there for both the Tier I and Tier II exams. In this section candidates needs to focus more on selected scoring topics like Spoting the Error, Fill in the Blanks, Idioms & Phrases, Active and Passive Voice, Sentence Improvement, Miss Spelt Words, One Word Substitution, English Comprehension, Cloze Test.You have to improve grammar as well vocabulary part and more time to on Antonym & Synonyms.
4. SSC CGL General Awareness:
General Awareness is the important section of the exam because you can score more marks in less time. This section is quite vast and requires a more amount of time. In recent time SSC ask number of questions from General Science section. So candidates can focus more study of General Science. The strategy to prepare for this section is to practice the previous years’ question papers. In this sections questions are to be ask from History, Geography, Polity, Economy and Current Affairs.
Time Management for SSC CGL mock exam:
Prepare a timetable of how much time you should give to each section. Here is how you can manage time:
Reasoning: 20 Minutes
English: 15 Minutes
General Awareness: 10 Minutes
Quantitative Aptitude: 30 Minutes
You need to save time for English and GK, as much question you attempt in Maths that will be beneficial for you. Prepare a time map of which section you are going to solve first then the second, third and fourth. Emphasise more on a section that you are more comfortable with and solve it first.
