SSC SI ASI Admit Card 2020 – Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released Paper I Admit Card for Sub Inspector (SI) in Delhi Police, CAPFs, Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) in CISF Exam 2020. Paper I Exam will be held from 23 to 26-11-2020.

In view of the prevailing COVID-19 pandemic situation, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has decided to re-schedule its pending examinations.The  revised tentative schedules of the examinations will beas per the details given below :

SSC Sub-Inspectors in Delhi Police and CAPFs Examination (Paper-I), 2020 : 23.11.2020 to 26.11.2020

Staff Selection Commission has announced for conducting CPO SI in Delhi Police, CAPFs and ASI in CISF Exam 2020 registration from 17-06-2020 to 16-07-2020 

Date of SSC CPO Computer Based Exam Paper 1 : 29-09-2020 to 05-10-2020 

Date of SSC CPO Paper 2 : 01-03-2021 

STAFF SELECTION COMMISSION (SSC) RECRUITMENT OF SUB-INSPECTORS IN DELHI POLICE, CENTRAL ARMED POLICE FORCES (CAPFs) EXAMINATION 2020

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold an Open Competitive Examination for recruitment of Sub-Inspectors (SI) in Delhi Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs).

Sub-Inspector (GD) in CAPFs: The post carries pay scale of Level-6 (Rs.35,400-1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group-B (Non-Gazetted), Non-Ministerial.

Sub Inspector (Executive) -(Male/ Female) in Delhi Police: Thepost carries pay scale of Leve-6 (Rs.35,400-1,12,400/-) and is classified as Group-C (Non-Gazetted) by Delhi Police.

SSC CPO Vacancies: 

A. Sub Inspector (Exe.) in Delhi Police –Male : 91

B. Sub-Inspector (Exe.) in Delhi Police –Female : 78 

C. Sub-Inspector (GD) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) : 1395 

The SSC CPO vacancies are Tentative. Any change in the number of vacancies will be intimated through the website of the Commission.

Candidates will not be allowed to change/revise the preference subsequently. Therefore, they are advised to indicate the preference of the posts carefully. 

Candidates selected for appointment for posts of SI in CAPFs and ASI in CISF are liable to serve anywhere in India.

SSC CPO Eligibility Criteria :   

A) Nationality/ Citizenship: 

A candidate must be either :  

(a) a citizen of India, or    

(b) a subject of Nepal, or  

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or

(d) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before the 1st January, 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(e) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania ( Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar ), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Provided that a candidate belonging to categories (b), (c), (d) and (e) above shall be a person in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been issued by the Government of India.

A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary will be admitted to the Examination provisionally but the offer of appointment will be given only after the necessary eligibility certificate has been issued to him by the Government of India. 

B) SSC CPO Educational Qualification (as on 01-01-2021) :  

A. BACHELOR‟S DEGREE FROM A RECOGNISED UNIVERSITY OR EQUIVALENT.

B. For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police only:- Male candidates must possess and also carry a valid Driving License for LMV(Motor cycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Standard Tests. Otherwise they will not be allowed to undergo Physical Endurance and Standard Tests.  

C) Age – SSC CPO Age limit of the candidates should be from 20 to 25 years as on 01.01.2021 i.e. Candidates born not before 02-01-1996 and not later than 01-01-2001. 

Departmental candidates amongst Constables, Head Constables and Assistant Sub-Inspector of  Delhi Police with minimum three years service and who shall not be more than 30 years (33 years for OBC and 35 years for SC/ ST) of ageas on crucial date given at Para 5.1 may also apply for filling up of Open and Departmental Vacancies of Sub-Inspector (Executive)-Male

Note I: The SSC CPO upper age limit for the post of Sub Inspector in CAPFs and ASI in CISF is relaxable for Central Government Civilian Employees as per extant Government order.

Note II: The crucial date for SSC CPO age-limit is reckoned with reference to 01.01.2021 Candidates should note that only the Date of Birth as recorded in the Matriculation/Secondary Examination Certificate or an equivalent certificate only will be accepted by the Commission for determining the age eligibility and no subsequent request for its change will be considered or granted  

For the post of Sub Inspector in Delhi Police only: Male candidates must possess a valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) on the date fixed for Physical Endurance and Measurement Tests. However, the candidates who do not have a Valid Driving License for LMV (Motorcycle and Car) are eligible for all other posts in CAPFs

SSC CPO SCHEME OF EXAMINATION:
The SSC CPO examination will consist of SSC CPO Paper-I, Physical Standard Test (PST)/Physical  Endurance Test (PET),  SSC CPO Paper-II and Detailed Medical Examination (DME).
All these stages of the SSC CPO examination are mandatory.   

SSC CPO Application Fee: 

RUPEES ONE HUNDRED ONLY (Rs 100) SSC CPO Fee can be paid through BHIM  UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa, mastercard, Maestro RuPay Credit, or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branchesby generating SBI Challan. Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation as per Govt. orders. 

How to apply SSC CPO Application Form : 

The SSC CPO application must be submitted only in the prescribed format on – line.
