No. 13-CA (EXAM)/M/2022: In pursuance of Regulation 22 of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988, the Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India is pleased to announce that the next Chartered Accountants Foundation, Intermediate and Final Examinations will be held on the dates and places which are given below provided that sufficient number of candidates offer themselves to appear from each of the below mentioned places.

CA CPT Exam has been replaced by the CA Foundation examination. The Foundation examination is conducted twice every year in May and November. Chartered Accountant Common Proficiency Test (CA CPT) was the primary stage of the Chartered Accountancy course.
The CA CPT Exam was conducted by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) till 2019.

(i.e. Morning Session) 10.30 AM to 12.30 PM (IST)
Section - A Fundamentals of Accounting
Section - B Mercantile Laws
Second Session 2.00 PM to 4.00 PM (IST)
(i.e. Afternoon Session) Section - C General Economics
Section - D Quantitative Aptitude
An application for admission to Common Proficiency Test (CPT) is required to apply
on-line at http://icaiexam.icai.org from 21st February to 13th March, 2022 (without late fees) and upto 2nd May, 2019 (with Late Fees of Rs 600/- for Indian & Kathmandu Centres and $10 for Foreign Centres).
The exam fee is required to be submitted on-line by using either VISA or MASTER Credit / Debit Card / Rupay Card / Net Banking.
The fees payable for the Common Proficiency Test is Rs.1500/-for centres in India, Rs.2200/- for centres in Kathmandu (Nepal)and $ 325/- for centres in Abu Dhabi, Doha, Dubai & Muscat
Candidates will be allowed to opt for Hindi question paper booklets for the said CPT(Paper-Pencil Mode). Further details will be available in the Information Brochure containing the application form.
